Prof. Dr. Uwe Spetzger received his medical degree 1989 at the Medical Faculty University of Heidelberg, Germany. Additionally, he passed the US American medical exam (ECFMG) in 1990. Since 2016 he is vice-president and council member of the International Society of Digital Medicine, and associated editor-in-chief of Digital Medicine.
What makes Prof. Spetzger such an important addition to our team is that even during his neurosurgical training, he was involved in the field of computer-assisted neurosurgery, neuronavigation and surgical robotics and was highly interested in the interdisciplinary collaboration in modern stereotactic radiosurgery.
